Booking
How quickly can I book a mobile notary?
Same-day appointments may be available depending on the schedule. Calling 310-773-1911 is the fastest confirmation; the booking page routes online requests.
What are your hours?
Appointments are generally available Monday–Sunday, 8 AM–10 PM, based on the current schedule. Evening and weekend slots are confirmed at booking.
Where will you meet me?
Homes, offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, cafés, or another agreed meeting location across Culver City, Beverly Hills, Century City, Santa Monica, and Greater LA.
Pricing
How much does a notarization cost in California?
State law caps notarial-act fees at $15 per signature for acknowledgments and $15 per jurat (Gov. Code §8211). See pricing for how travel and optional services work.
Are travel fees separate?
Yes — travel is a separate, distance-based convenience fee: included within 10 miles of the Culver City base, +$25 for 11–20 miles, +$50 for 21–35 miles, custom quote beyond. Always confirmed before the appointment.
Identification & documents
What identification should I bring?
A current government-issued photo ID that satisfies California requirements — commonly a driver’s license or passport. Unsure whether yours qualifies? Call before the appointment.
Should I sign before the appointment?
Don’t assume you should — some acts require signing in the notary’s presence. Bring the complete, unsigned document unless the receiving agency instructed otherwise.
Can you notarize an incomplete document?
Bring the complete document. California notaries cannot notarize documents with missing pages or blanks intended to be filled in later.
Can you tell me which notarial certificate I need?
No — that determination is legal advice a notary cannot give. The document’s receiving agency or an attorney can tell you; once you know, I perform the authorized act.
Hospitals & care facilities
Do you visit hospitals?
Yes — see hospital appointments. The signer must be able to personally participate and meet legal requirements at the appointment.
Apostille, jail & estate signings
Do you provide apostille / document authentication service?
Yes — one flat package from $175 covering notarization (where required), hand delivery to the California Secretary of State, and the finished apostille returned to you. How apostille service works →
Can you notarize for someone in a jail or detention center?
Yes — I visit LA County correctional facilities (Men’s Central, Twin Towers, CRDF Lynwood, Pitchess and others), coordinate documents and ID with the family or attorney, and confirm visitation with the facility before driving out. How jail visits work →
Do you do trust and estate plan signings?

Do you handle loan signings?
Yes — NNA Certified Loan Signing Agent handling buyer, seller, refinance, and HELOC packages. Details here.
Can you print legal and letter-size documents? Scanbacks?
Yes — dual-tray laser printing handles letter and legal in one pass, and scanbacks are returned when the assignment requires them.
Do you offer remote online notarization?
No — this is an in-person mobile service.
Do you accept reverse mortgage signings?
Not currently.
How do title or escrow companies send an assignment?
By phone, email, or Snapdocs. For recurring relationships, use the professional partner intake.
